Mr. Putter & Tabby Fly the Plane.

Mr.Putter loved toys when he was young. He drove into town, he found the toy store, he bought some toys for Tabby, Tabby was not happy the toy, but Tabby loved Mr.Putter so she put up with all of it. The wind-ups made her twitch. The pop-ups made her jump. And anything that flew gave her the hiccups. Mr.Putter played with everything. He played with the dump trucks, cranes, bear onthe flying trapezw, but most of all, he played with the planes.
He loved planes, his favorite were Biplanes, he loved monoplanes and seaplanes and shiny ace Junkers.
One day when Mr.Putter and Tabby were in the toy store and Tabby was hissing at a wind-up penguin, Mr.Putter saw a plane he had never seen before. It was white and red, with two wings on each side and a little flag on its tail. It was the most beautiful biplane he had ever seen. And it had a radio control so a person might really fly it. Mr.Putter was in love. He bought the little plane and came home. Then they ate their muffins, they poured their tea with cream , they went outside to fly his new plane. Tabby still didn't like Mr.Putter's plane. Mr.Putter read all the directions and pressed the start button. But the plane did not start. It just rolled over and died. Tabby purred. He set it right again, but it did not start. Tabby purred and purred. He was sad, Tabby felt sad, too. Tabby went to Mr.Putter and rubbed herself against his legs. She sat on his shoulder, put her head by his, and licked his nose. This made Mr.Putter feel better. He decided to try again. The little plane choked, the little plane coughed, the litte plane gagged. It warmed up and began to sound better. And then it flew! It flew hight into the blue sky. Mr.Putter cheered. Tabby purred and hiccuped
Every day, Mr.putter and Tabby played the biplane. Children from town heard about the plane, they came to the fiels to watch it fly. He loved this, he felt like a proud grandpa.
One boy was a little shy, a little clumsy, a little forgetful.Just like Mr.Putter, but whenever the boy flew Mr.Putter's plane, he wasn't shy or clumsy or forgetful at all. He was strong, he was sure, he was happy.
Mr.Putter remembered himseld as a boy, he wanted a plane, but he didn't have, so he decided to give his little bipland to the shy, clumsy, forgetful boy. The boy became a hero among the other children.
And Mr.Putter and Tabby went back to their tea and muffins, their tulip and roses.

The Tanabata legend.

Once upon a time. When the sky was young and the earth was green with tender, fresh grass
Orihime was a weaver. She wove the pattern of stars, she wove a soft brocade of sparkling night sky, with a lot of beautiful color.
Kenyu was a farmer, he walked steadily behind his oxen and tilled the fields. One day, he urged his oxen to walk beyond their field. At twilight the first star appeared, he looked up and he saw Orihime. Just at that moment Orihime glanced down past her star brocade, and saw Kenyu. Their eyes met, they fell in love. They forgot about their duties. The sky became darker, oxen wandered around, the stars were no longer woven in. Her parents were mad. They called her,and they callel him go back to work, but they didnpt hear. They pulled her back and pushed his back. The Queen used a silver pin and drew a silver river to keep them a part. Orihime cried. Her parents felt sad and decided they could meet only once a year on July 7. Every year Kenyu takes a boat to see Orihime. If the weather is nice, then they can meet. It the weather isn't nice, then they can't see each other.
